CES in Las Vegas always seems to be full of a new technological level. In the section automobile one of the most surprised is the BMW i Inside Future, a prototype of the German mark that shows how it could be the interior and the technology of their vehicles in the future. The outside in this case is the least, because as we can see it is a design irrational that it lacks doors, windshield or roof.
This futuristic prototype has the technology BMW HoloActive Touch, an interface for gestural control similar to that which is already available in the 7 Series and new 5-Series, although more advanced. Specifically it would be an evolution designed for the next generation and no longer would only serve to increase the volume or take a call. There will be advanced features and even it shall not be necessary to touch the screen with the fingers.
All the dashboard becomes a screen floating that displays all the information to color. In the center console will have a kind of tablet that will be is able to simulate the contact with our fingers. Although not the touch, it will read our fingerprints with a system of ultrasound and we will get a small vibration that emulates the contact. So do not have to move much to the arm to get the screen and in addition it disappears if not used.
A detail eye-catching is a sound system customizable that allows you to play different sounds to each passenger. Needless to say, the BMW i Inside Future has been conceived as an autonomous vehicle, although at least hold the steering wheel, giving the option of manual driving. In the coming years we will see if some of these technologies come to fruition and end up in production vehicles.
