The dutchman Bono Huis has won the first edition of the Formula E Las Vegas eRace, the race virtual organized by the championship power of the FIA, and that has become by its sheer volume of prizes in the biggest event of virtual races, known as simracing. With his win, Huis has been a prize of 200,000$ after passing the straight end of the test, the finn Olli Pahkala. Felix Rosenqvist, rider of Mahindra Racing, has been the only one to hold the pace of the pilots virtual and has managed to finish in the second position of the podium.
Both in the free as in classification there has been two rhythms competitive different. While the pilots of Formula E have taken of the event without pressure, the simracers have worked to fight for the top awards in what was supposed to an event marked in red on its sports program virtual. In this way, it has not been unusual to see as among the ten best times of the ranking, nine were from simracers. Only Rosenqvist ran in second position, although the pole award and the$ 25,000 fell out of the side of Bono Huis. This left a Qualifying-Race full of pilots of Formula E.
Qualifying-Race has been a hectic and has had a good number of accidents, while António Félix Da Costa, José María ‘Pechito’ Lopez and Robin Frijns have topped the list of the ten pilots remaining who have accessed the end-of-Formula E Las Vegas eRace, a race that in the end he had only three players. Although in the first instance was Olli Pahkala which amazed with their strategy and got the victory, a glitch (bug) in the application time of the FanBoost was compensated with a penalty of 12 seconds, which left the victory in the hands of Bono Huis, followed by Felix Rosenqvist and Pahkala.
After the above-mentioned Huis, Rosenqvist and Pahkala, the fourth position
it has been for the Italian Enzo Bonito, simracer competing with the
team colours Techeetah and that has been thanks to its performance
a prize of$ 35,000. The fifth position has been for also a pilot
virtual Aleksi Uusi, while Greger Huttu has not been able to spend the
sixth position. Although his name may not sound outside of the environment of the
simracing, what is certain is that the finn was one of the greatest
favorites to score the win in the first edition of the Formula E
Las Vegas eRace.
With all Huttu has been one of the
pilots more active of the final-despite the error with the FanBoost – after to certify a very good comeback to
base advantage of some of the mishaps that we have seen in the
race and good overtaking manoeuvres. A performance that
has served Greger Huttu to finish ahead of José María ‘Pechito’
Lopez and Sam Bird, the couple’s official team DS Virgin Racing in the
Formula E. The top ten of the test has closed, Daniel Abt and Nelson
Piquet Jr, although both have been shot away from the times imposed by
final Standings of the Formula E Las Vegas eRace
