Based on the McLaren 650S Spider, the aesthetic changes affect the behind, completely redesigned. Longer, more aerodynamic and with two beautiful outputs central exhaust. In my opinion, behind most beautiful of all the current range of McLaren. We don’t have details on the front, but I doubt that there is any modification on the 675LT, the version more focused on the circuit from the McLaren Sport Series. Under the rear hood, presumably the same 3.8-liter V8 double turbo that propels the 675LT coupe.
The engine is different to that of the McLaren 650S, despite the fact that only 25 HP separate. New turbochargers, internal components reinforced, new system of fuel supply… to such an extent that it is considered to be a different engine by the McLaren, with internal code M838TL. The 675LT-body coupe is able to do the 0 to 100 km/h in 2,9 seconds and reach the 200 km/h in just 7,9 seconds. We’ll see if the absence of a ceiling lift its weight, and impairs its performance, or it remains competitive.
