The next December 1 will be held a test Pirelli at the Yas Marina circuit in Abu Dhabi. The test will last for twelve hours, and she premiered the tires ultrablandos that has been designed by Italian firm. Despite the fact that since brand asked the teams to use, preferably pilots, owners or third-party drivers, and Manor has employed throughout the season to Stevens, Merhi and Rossi have decided to call this day two young men of GP2. Jordan King is a pilot development of the team and was present at the Grand Prix of the united States and Mexico, although it still has not been able to rise to a Formula 1 debut in Abu Dhabi. For his part, Rio Haryanto has already played two tests for young riders with the team in 2010 and 2010. This season both played the GP2, to be Jordan now 4th and Rio 12. Each one played a half session.

John Booth, director of the team:

we Hope to be able to provide River and Jordan the opportunity to lead the M30RB in Abu Dhabi next week. For Jordan, it is an expected part of their pilot program of development to 2015, after a season learning with the computer. Rio has piloted two cars our in previous tests, and already in 2010 at the tender age of 17 years, was shown to have a promising future ahead. Both drivers have extensive experience in the management of Pirelli tyres in GP2, and in particular in Abu Dhabi, so this puts them in a good position to help our program evaluation of the Pirelli next week.

Jordan King, pilot development of the Manor Marussia F1 Team:

The role of pilot development has been a fantastic opportunity for me this season. I have enjoyed and I have benefited in every minute I have spent with the team. European rounds will be fought at the same time that the Formula 1, so it was very easy to combine my commitments to careers with spending time with the engineers and pilots of the Manor. In Austin and in Mexico I had the opportunity to immerse myself completely in the environment of the F1 and I’m learning about how things work inside and outside of the race track. Of course, what I have been waiting for is the opportunity to lead the MR03B, and I can not wait to show everything I have learned in Abu Dhabi next week.

Rio Haryanto, pilot GP2:

I really want to be back with the team in the test in Abu Dhabi. In many ways, is essentially the same team, even though the car is very different. I feel much better prepared for this test, and after a season very competitive in the GP2, I can’t wait to show you how much I have developed to become a pilot more complete.
