The car manufacturer japanese, Subaru, is one of the few that still you do not have in the market of a hybrid car (if we omit the version of XV that is sold in Japan, USA and Australia) large volume. They have taken so long to adopt this technology is not a matter of development costs (they have already taught several prototypes of their famous engines boxter hybridized). However this situation is going to change in a matter of a year, the firm has confirmed that by the end of next year will have the first hybrid vehicle in its range.
As confirmed by a representative of Subaru hybrid technology to be used is very advanced and it will take about twelve months in which to reach to the public in final form. Evidently the model on which we could fall back this honor is the next generation of the compact SUV XV in a matter of a year to make its presentation. As it is logical the next XV will be settled on the modern, modular platform that has been developed by the firm and that is the secret to incorporate this technology.
, modular platform that will give life to the next Subarus is so flexible that will allow us to integrate in it solutions as diverse as blocks of gasoline, diesel, hybrid, and electric. With this new model, premiered the new hybrid technology of the brand, since the current XV hybrid that they sell does not use the same technological scheme that have been developed for future models of its range.
With this news we can forget the rumors who said that the first model of Subaru to receive the hybrid technology would be the Impreza. The reason is simple and is based on the large volume they need to sell to be profitable in the shortest possible time and that volume is currently in the segment of the SUV. This is not to say that in a matter of a couple of years the hybrid technology will not reach any of the versions of the Impreza, but for now first things first.
Will have to see what markets will be for sale and how much time it takes in go to Europe, but what is for sure is that Subaru will surprise us for very well. We are expectant.
