The Kia Soul is one of the models most controversial, and the couple different that it has in its portfolio, the car manufacturer south Korean. The first generation of this small SUV – monovolúmen urban passed rather without penalty or glory for Spain but after a time away from the lists of sales, Kia decided to launch its second generation. This is relative to the first fine-tuned many of the details that did not convince and after a short time in the market just to get a small facelift to update its image and refrescarle against the competition.
The new Soul debuts the design that the brand has already presented at the last Paris motor show. If we focus on its exterior design, the brand has touched their optical groups adding the daytime running lights for leds. In the lower part of the front we found some fog lights newly minted along with a grill and bumper with minor tweaks. If we move to the rear we find in it a few pilots in the rear of new stuff and changes in the lines of your bumper. finished off the new designs for their tires alloy and new shades for the body.
Going on inside the change that has been experienced in regard to the Soul, which was selling until now is a minimum. It has improved the quality of the materials that are more to view and some controls. The rest of the interior of the Soul is maintained without large variations showing as a car very technological and fairly resolved in terms of ergonomics and technology on board.
If we talk about its range of mechanical things are kept more or less up to now. If we talk about diesel the Soul keeps the previous block 1.6 CRDI with 136 hp coupled to a manual gearbox of 6 speeds. If we talk about petrol the brand maintains the previous block 1.6 GDI 132 hp power and adds the new 1.6 TGDI with 204 hp. Both mechanical, like diesel, are associated to a manual gearbox with 6 speeds or an automatic DCT with dual clutch and seven-speed dedicated exclusively to the most powerful version TGDI.
The range of the Kia Soul in Spain will continue spinning on four trim levels called by the brand (from less to more funding) Concept, Drive, Emotion and Sport. To finish we must mention that the price range will be somewhere between 18.125 euros of the 1.6 GDI 132 hp Concept (manual) 26.625 euros of the 1.6 CRDI 136 hp Emotion 7DCT. Version 1.6 TGDI with 204 hp and Sport trim stands at 25,500 euros.
