0 to 300 km/h face to face with the McLaren P1, LaFerrari and the Porsche 918 Spyder. Who wins in this battle against the clock?

little by Little, we begin to see independent tests that compare the Holy Trinity of the hiperdeportivos: Ferrari LaFerrari, the McLaren P1 and the Porsche 918 Spyder. A little over a week we were able to measure their times in the quarter mile, and today, the same channel gives us a duel of acceleration, between 0 and 300 km/h. Although the cars are shipped to the asphalt at almost the same time, it really is a box GPS which measures your times and your acceleration. What supercar will win this battle of speed?

we have Already seen such as the Porsche 918 Spyder won the McLaren P1 and LaFerrari in a quarter of a mile.

To check this, have gone to an airfield to be abandoned, where some magazines and british media routinely performed acceleration testing. Even Top Gear has used it. With the three supercars to optimal temperature, in the driving mode more sporty as possible, and with the Launch Control activated, begins a race against the clock. Do not let the video deceive you, cars do not come out all at the same time. What matters is the end result, as well as the different brackets: 0 to 160 km/h and 0 to 250 km/h.

And contrary as happened in the previous duel, the Porsche 918 Spyder is the last classified. The time difference is minimum with respect to the winner, the McLaren P1, only to 2.84 seconds. However, when you drill down to the times we do get a lot more responses. Up to 160 km/h the Porsche 918 Spyder is unstoppable and impales the time of the McLaren P1, up to 250 km/h. Apparently, the 918 Spyder off its electric motor front from the 250 km/h, in order to avoid potential damage by excess speed.

The curve of speed and time clearly shows this time, where the P1 beats the 918 without mercy. Only near the 300 km/h, the LaFerrari manages to scratch time and outperform the Porsche.
