Artés we may soon have their experiences after 5000 km at the wheel of one of the last units. But nobody can deny that it is a car that needs a replacement. Although it has aged just outside, inside, engines and technologies have become somewhat outdated in today’s market. In Frankfurt we meet a new generation of Kia Sportage.
The Kia Sportage is still an excellent SUV , but you will weigh the years.
The sketch presiding this article just published by Kia as a teaser. A teaser lets us see the features of the renovated SUV . It’s clear that renewed Sportage is inspired by the Kia Optima, which was presented this year in the Hall of New York but neither has reached European soil than in prototype form. Optima is inheriting of a new grille , in line with the current offer of Kia. The optical torn seem a novelty, with a projector LED day four points. ¿At Porsche style?
Not expected to be a more streamlined than the current Sportage car but unlikely to lose some glazed surface. It is a trend that seems irreversible in the world SUV , the less glass area has a car, the greater image of security and confidence transmitted who sees it. The taillights go to have a intricate design 100% LED and Kia still convert exhaust into a design element featured in its SUV Top sellers . Afraid his cousin the Hyundai Tucson?
Inside the car again are the lines of the new Sorento and Optima which follow. A necessary change in a well finished inside that shows it and years. The key is that new Sportage is so broad, practical and comfortable as the previous vehicle. As for engines, you should have an identical offer the new Hyundai Tucson: 1.7 CRDi 115 hp, 136 hp 2.0 CRDi and 184 hp, and a single 1.6 GTDi petrol and 175 hp turbocharging.
