Auctionata has just put up for auction in Germany for a couple of the most interesting. The equivalent – about 20 years younger – to the fantastic Renntransporter Mercedes, along with its 300 SLR of competition. This is a couple made by a Porsche 935 competition of the year 1977 and its transport, a beautiful truck Magirus adapted for the transport of racing cars. The truck was not transported originally to the Porsche, but it fits so well with the 935, that nobody in their right mind would want to separate the pair.

The Porsche 935 was built by Porsche on the basis of the 930 Turbo between 1976 and 1981, for customers all over the world. The car was successful in competition, and until 1986, it continued to be used in some championships. In the united States was especially desired for the championships IMSA, which required a production car as a base, to which you could add all kinds of aerodynamic devices or more powerful engines. The unit that is put up for sale is from the year 1977, one of the 14 produced by Porsche during this year.
The car was built for the racing team Norm Goldrich, a private corridor of the us. The car was used in competition without great victories, and was sold to a new owner in the year 2000. The new owner carried out a restoration light of the car, reinforced chassis, and performed many jobs on the engine. Increased the displacement to 3.2 litres and changed much of the internal components, replacing them with high-quality products such as pistons coated in titanium.
The Porsche 935 is in perfect working order and runs GP classics on a regular basis.
The engine was powered up to 610 HP, associated to a huge maximum torque of 800 Nm. With a manual gearbox of four relations closed and a weight on competition of 1,086 kg, this car can reach 290 km/h. It was used in various GP classic, and it is possible to use it in competitions of Group 5 of the FIA. Decorated with motifs of the 70’s and 80’s, the Porsche 935 – nicknamed Moby Dick by your giant rear wing – a car is magnificent even able to give many joys to its future owner.
The lorry Magirus of the year 1968, which accompanies the lot has never been their transport officer, until now. Has been created taking as inspiration the transport of racing cars of the era of Mercedes. Your hydraulic platform is fully functional with a load capacity of 1,500 kg. Its V8 engine diesel 10 litres only develops 168 HP, sufficient to move the load with agility. A perfect complement to the racing car. It is estimated that the couple will reach 300,000 euros at auction.
