The team AKKA ASP has been one of the protagonists of the Blancpain GT Series in 2016, to such an extent compete for the first time with three vehicles. The computer gaul, founded by Jérôme Policand has aligned three Mercedes-AMG GT3 that has to be distributed among the Endurance Cup and Sprint Cup, as well as in the subcategories of existing, adding to triumphs in each of them. This ambitious program has allowed him to finish eighth in the team standings and be the perfect complement to HTP Motorsport, the team that has the gallons of formation of reference in the Blancpain GT from Mercedes-AMG.
The team has split its efforts between the different categories, getting hits in each of them. Thus, the formation has joined the runner-up position in the Pro-AM Cup for the Sprint Cup with Jean-Luc Beaubelique and Morgan Moulin-Traffort, escorted by the third position of Jean-Philippe Belloc and Christophe Bourret. This result is added to the third post in the AM Cup Endurance Cup with the own Beaubelique, Maurice Ricci and Gilles Vannelet and the third absolute in the Pro-AM of the Blancpain GT Series 2016 reached by Morgan Moullin-Traffort and the runner-up position by teams and by starting to double in the Pro-Am Cup.
