Volkswagen has just recently opened a new body shop in your factory of Puebla, Mexico. This center opened late last year and is already virtually operating and willing to create a new model. Last Friday came off the assembly line the first automobile Volkswagen Tiguan LWB. Went to test mode to check the various machines and the operation of the workshop.
The Tiguan LWB (Long Wheelbase) is a model with extended platform that takes as the basis of the newly-launched Volkswagen Tiguan 2016, and we still do not know in which markets it will be available. The rear overhang also will be enlarged, since the purpose is to provide a third row of seats and get the seven-seater.

The plant in Puebla will begin to produce in series the Volkswagen Tiguan LWB to early 2017. For which it will with this new body shop with 70.800 square metres, with up to 800 welding robots that will be able to carry out work independently. Until the moment have already received about 700 containers with 50,000 tons of material to carry out this task.
