there Was a lot of anticipation to see what they will be able to two riders as young as Carlos Sainz and, above all, Max Verstappen. For many people the choice of Toro Rosso was crazy and that I would end up paying the team in the points table.

And what is true is that Toro Rosso has fallen far below the real potential of the car. Or, better said, the chassis and the pack streamlined. The true slab ended up being the propellant Renault, which has neither been reliable nor fast. The design of the talented engineer James Key allowed Sainz and Verstappen to shine in qualifying, and defend with bravery in the race, but the breakdowns bled to the computer in the constructors ‘ world.

The duel between Carlos Sainz and Max Verstappen has been one of the most fascinating of the season. With the English winning by the minimum in the face-to-face in classification (not in that average position is referred to), has made it clear that has a natural rate outstanding and in the race his boldness and quality do not have been less. Only the breakdowns and some other unforced error have washed out their final numbers.
But who else praise has been has been the spectacular Max Verstappen, who from the first Grand Prix made it clear that it was not going to take the season in stride and, as has been acquiring experience -no longer in Formula 1 but a single powerful – has brought all his talent to the fore. Scored in six of the last seven races and fell absolutely all the mouths who doubted their own worth.
it Is a shame that a car as promising as the Toro Rosso looked weighed down this year by a propellant as the Renault. With another engine in the rear, the show that his two drivers would have given us, it could have been in direct fight for the podium in many of the races this season.
The development has been slow but steady and the car has not lost swerve with the best, knowing withstand the type despite its low top speed and shining especially in circuits with high demands on aerodynamics. Maybe his race pace has not been as bright as their pure speed over a lap, but all in all it has been one of the benchmarks of the season.
