This week, Lamborghini achieved a new record in its history as a manufacturer, and that is that your assembly line has managed to manufacture a 5,000-Lamborghini Aventador, an impressive figure taking into account that we are dealing with a supercar that is manufactured in the traditional way and that is within the reach of very few privileged people. In just 55 months Lamborghini has been able to beat its own production record, and that that the Lamborghini Aventador is just the half of its life cycle.
Nothing better than to celebrate this record-breaking Lamborghini recalling our test of the Aventador:
When the Lamborghini Aventador was presented in society back in 2011 as Lamborghini LP700-4 Aventador, one of the points where Lamborghini wanted to put a greater emphasis was on the complexity of its manufacture due to the monocoque carbon employee. The arrival of the monohull was a milestone in the brand and forced that the entire manufacturing of the Aventador will be conditioned to the times of manufacture of this piece. With this announcement, Lamborghini announced that the production of the Aventador, it would not be all as fast as you want, thus offering exclusivity and technology in exchange for limited production and some times waiting more extensive.
With the passage of time, Lamborghini was improving the process and increasing the rate of production of the Aventador, including in your production line manufacturing of special editions and exclusive models such as Lamborghini Veneno, the Aventador J or the more recent Lamborghini Centennial. Taking into account that all the one-off Lamborghini depart from the chassis and set power plant of the Aventador, it is logical that your production line is in charge of bringing to life the Lambo’s most exclusive and spectacular.
In this way, and after a little over 4 and a half years of production, the production line of the Lamborghini Aventador has joined its unit number to 5,000. It is a figure of true record, and that is that you only need to take a look at the figures of his predecessor to find out that the Lamborghini Murciélago managed to make 4.099 units for 9 years. And best of all is that the Lamborghini Aventador is now facing the half of its life cycle before an imminent restyling and the more than likely arrival of new special editions and units one-off. Will the Lamborghini Aventador to exceed the 10,000 units?
