Andy Soucek also played the 'Sprint Cup' of the Blancpain GT Series

Andy Soucek played the Blancpain GT Series full time in 2016. The Spanish pilot, who in a first moment it was confirmed to be driving the Bentley Continental GT3 #8 in testing the ‘Endurance Cup’, finally also compete in the tests of the ‘Sprint Cup’ at the controls of the model managed by the preparer M-Sport. For the five appointments to the sprint that presents the calendar of this season, Andy Soucek will share the car with the belgian Maxime Soulet, pilot which in turn is part of the trio of riders who will defend this same car in the quotations of resistance.

And is that in the ‘Endurance Cup’ there is a last minute change in the own car of Soucek. Although at first it was planned that the Continental GT3 #8 was driven by Andy Soucek Maxime Soulet and Maximilian Buhk, finally the british firm has changed plantes. Finally Buhk has taken the decision to stay inthe structure HTP to pilot one of the new Mercedes-AMG GT3, that has opened the doors of the Bentley M-Sport Wolfgang Reip, belgian driver who, amongst other achievements, has achieved the title of the GT Academy in 2012 and Blancpain Endurance Series in 2015.

The only question to resolve for the ex-pilot of Nissan is the rest of your program, because we understand that Bentley will provide its new factory rider of a project beyond the five tests of the ‘Endurance Cup’ of the Blancpain GT Series in 2016. In any case, where there are no changes is in the Bentley Continental GT3 #7 where will the couple formed by Steven Kane and Vincent April for appointments to the sprint, we will add the veteran and experienced Guy Smith for the five tests of the ‘Endurance Cup’.
