The first prototype presented the spectacular AM-RB 001.

In an interview with the australian press one of the marketing executives of Aston Martin, Simon Sproule, revealed that the british firm already has received more than 450 applications for the spectacular hiperdeportivo AM-RB 001, developed in conjunction with Red Bull Racing and designed by the current guru of aerodynamics, Adrian Newey.

The high and the expected demand for the new sports far exceeds the number of copies that you plan to make the signature of Gaydon, who for the moment has been limited to confirm that you just will make a maximum of 150 units of the model.

The communications director of the firm stated that demand for the model, still called AM-RB 001, is similar to that in their day they lived in a McLaren, Ferrari and Porsche with their latest batch of supercars-hybrid. According to Sproule, it is believed that many of the collectors that wanted to buy the P1, LaFerrari and 918 Spyder are the ones who now want to incorporate the new sports signed by Adrian Newey to their private collections.

With about 1,000 HP to less than 1,000 kilos.

What is certain is that even there are many details unknown of the future british model, since despite the fact that the brand has presented a prototype prior, it is certain it has not revealed the full technical specifications. Even has confirmed the production they are planning, limiting itself to affirm that it will be between 99 and 150 units which will be manufactured, figure that you will be including the variant track-only sport, and even the same prototypes.

At a technical level we know that will have the V12 engine’s maximum torque of the mark and that will probably attach an electric motor to achieve a higher power to 1.000 horses. All this power will serve to promote a model that will not reach the 1,000 kilos, with lines sculpted in the wind tunnel to ensure that the AM-RB 001 is as fast as a Formula 1 track.
