Aston Martin renews the Aston Martin V12 Vantage S and underline their commitment to the gearboxes manuals (and therefore with the fans more purists) presents us with the possibility to equip a manual gearbox in this MY2017. A V12 under the hood and a manual gearbox, a unique combination, classic, authentic, with which we could not be more happy, and that makes this Aston Martin V12 Vantage S a mount of the most special.
The manual transmission is 7-speed and the first gear is inserted down:
This manual gearbox is 7-speed and the function AMSHIFT to simulate a “double clutch” in the transitions between gears as you wish. In addition to this gearbox has the particularity that the first gear is selected down (as in the BMW M3 E30), “dog leg” as they call the british.
Mechanically, the Aston Martin V12 Vantage S account with the above-mentioned block V12, 5.9-liter, and 575 horses delivered to the rear axle, with a maximum torque of 620 Nm, being able to score a 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds, with a maximum speed of 330 km/h.
in Addition to this manual transmission the Aston Martin V12 Vantage S maintains the gearbox sequential Sportshift III.

Aston Martin has updated its browser and offers a new “pack”, the Sport-Plus Pack, which allows the new chromatic combinations, with the accent on the contrast of the front grill to match the side skirts, the rear diffuser and the cover of the mirrors.
