Aston Martin and Zagato have announced a new collaboration. This is not the first nor will it be the last, because this relationship dates back to the year 1960, when it appeared the DB4 GT Zagato. The last we saw recently as five years ago, with the introduction of the V12 Vantage Zagato in 2011. This weekend we celebrate the prestigious Concorso d’eleganza Villa d’este, there will debut the new the new Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato Concept.
This prototype is the fifth model that comes out of the collaboration between the british manufacturer and the body builder Italian. As in the other examples, it is implemented by a design language unique and different with respect to the base model. In this case, has taken the sports Vanquish although it has been reformed thanks to a new body made of carbon fiber, with a few of the ways very attractive.
In the front the first thing you’ll notice is the grill, which is now larger in size, and it also has two LED daytime running lights of circular design. Although if in the lead we still recognize the Vanquish, in the behind the changes will be significant. The roof double bubble typical of Zagato results in a spoiler retractable that remains hidden in the images. The prominent rear diffuser carbon host four outputs of the exhaust and the drivers rear round premiered design.
In interior don’t be left behind and it maintains the same quality offered by the firm from Gaydon, but by adding some details. Carbon fiber, upholstery-specific and the letter ‘Z’ will be present in the passenger compartment. Under the hood there will be no major changes, it keeps the V12 naturally aspirated 6.0-liter though with a power increase up to the 600 HP (series 576 HP). The Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato Concept, which unites classicism and design, will be the days 21 and 22 at Villa d’este.
