BMW has introduced a new generation BMW X1 , a generational shift that comes built on a new platform, the same as that used in the BMW Series 2 Active Tourer. His arrival, along with a new design, new engines, finishes and more space could also leave us with a new alternative sports spirit, a rival to the Audi RS Q3 for the Mercedes GLA 45 AMG .
A source was quoted as saying to the brand Motoring that are obviously conscious BMW hollow is in his range for a version well and his rivals are already offering alternatives in the segment SUV compact sports adding that although under the hood of the new BMW X1 no room for the 6-cylinder 3-liter mark, if that are studying that mechanics could meet under the hood of this hypothetical BMW X1 M .

Currently the alternative is more performance BMW X1 xDrive25i with 231 horses delivered to the 4 wheels, so the distance with its rivals, especially with GLA 45 AMG , is remarkable.
‘ll have to wait to see if BMW consider interesting to get into the fight for the segment of compact sport crossover and to see, in this case, 4-cylinder engine that we would be under its hood.
