BMW G 310 R, so is the proposal roadster bavarian for the carnet A2

do You remember the curious BMW Concept Stunt G 310? A prototype that anticipated the bike that is in your screens: the new BMW G 310 R. This is a naked low in the front in focus to those pilots that are just getting the license A2 and who are looking for their first bike for enjoyment, away from the practices – but slow – 125. It is the first bike BMW with less than 500 cc, manufactured in decades, and will be made entirely in India by the local manufacturer TVS. What offers us this fantastic to the naked low in the front?

An aggressive design and a good power

Is offered in three colors: combination of Polar White and Cosmic Black, Strato Blue metallic, and white metallic Pearl White.

This will be possible thanks to a single-cylinder engine of the new bill, liquid-cooled with electronic injection multipoint. Has 313 cc engine capacity, and is capable of developing 34 HP at 9.500 rpm, in addition to a maximum torque of a healthy 28 Nm at 7.500 rpm.

Their power level is somewhat lower than their rival more direct displacement and positioning.

This level of power is associated to a weight in running order of only 158,5 kg. It is a bike weight pen, with a box of changes of five relationships that require the pilot to play with it to extract the best out of the small thruster. This low weight is required, as is a bike whose power level is not at the height of their rival more direct: the Kawasaki Z300 has an engine of 39 horsepower and the same displacement, and KTM Duke 390 is going to be the 44 CV thanks to its capacity of 372 cubic centimeters.


This engine is mounted on a tubular chassis of steel on which is screwed the rear subframe. At the level of components and part cycle BMW it has spared no expense, with high-quality material. Mount a upside-down forks of 41 mm and a good braking equipment, with ABS serial. Not a whole lot of naked in this segment carry the ABS series, which is a point in favor for BMW. Its front disc is 300 mm in diameter and is embraced by a clamp of four pistons. The rear disc has 210 mm of diameter.

The rear suspension is a single arm, mounted in the center of the bike. In the rear all the protagonist is a silent which will be much nicer than aftermarket. The price of this bike is still unknown, but should be less than 5,000 euro to be competitive. As usual, it will be possible to extend with accessories the standard equipment of the bike. For example with luggage rack, intermittent LED, heated grips or a power outlet of 12 volts.
