BMW M140i and M240i: the Series 1 and Series 2 more spicy go up to 340 HP of power

important Developments in the range BMW 1-Series and BMW Series 2, at least in the most powerful models and sports, with the permission of the almighty BMW M2 (see test BMW M2). Forget about the old M135i and M235i, which up to now were presented with six cylinders in line and 326 HP of power. BMW bet for a new denomination, and an improved version of this engine, to get new BMW M140i and BMW M240i reach the 340 HP of power. These versions, of court sports, will be available with the bodywork of three doors and five doors the BMW Series 1, and with bodies Coupe and Cabrio, the BMW 2-Series. What other novelties we will find in the newly released BMW M140i and BMW 240i?


The M140i and M240i are presented as the alternative to more sporty and powerful BMW 1-Series and BMW Series 2, with permission of the new BMW M2.

from July 2016 will be available the new compact with the seal of BMW M Performance Automobiles, the versions more spicy than the BMW 1-Series and BMW 2-Series.

The new BMW M140i and BMW M240i will be available with a manual gearbox six relations, with automatic transmission Steptronic Sport 8-relationships (optional) with rear-wheel drive, and four-wheel drive xDrive (optionally). The versions equipped with manual switching feature, as standard, with a system that in sport driving gives a small hit of gas, automatically, to emulate the spike-heeled.
