The one hundred year celebration of BMW’s continued to the whole train, with numerous special editions for several of its models. Some of them are designed exclusively for certain markets or countries, not to be marketed globally: for example, the BMW 320d Style Edge specific to Japan. And it will not be the only exclusive to the country of the rising sun.
This BMW M6 Coupé Celebration Edition will come in the form of a edition limited to just 13 units, and again only will be available in dealerships japanese. In this M6 Coupé you’ll find that the V8 engine of 4.4 liters, yields nothing less than 600 HP -a power increase of +40 HP compared to the M6 Coupe standard – and 700 Nm of torque, thanks to the Competition Package included.
With these figures it is not surprising that this version has a performance very high, reaching 305 km/h maximum speed -blame the M Driver’s Package– and accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds. But beyond its mechanics, in the M6 Coupé Celebration Edition, are present a multitude of accessories BMW M Performance and personalization in charge of BMW Individual.
For example, specific details of this special edition are the painting ‘Yellow Austin’ BMW Individual alloy wheels M in 20-inch and black color, rear spoiler, diffuser and aerodynamic rear-view mirrors in carbon fiber, next to your quad exit exhaust in black chrome.
In the interior, more exclusivity through your steering wheel M Sport trimmed in Alcantara, upholstery of leather Merino black in color with stitching in yellow, decorative moldings carbon in your center console and sound equipment Bang & Olufsen, with 16 speakers and 1,200 W.
Interestingly, and despite being dedicated to the japanese market, each of the thirteen units have steering wheel to the left. The price of the BMW M6 Coupé Celebration Edition will amount to some 190,000 euros at the current exchange rate yen-euro.
