BMW is celebrating. This year marks its 100th anniversary, and for this reason is launching a special series of some of their models. An example is this new BMW M6 Coupé Celebration Edition, a unique version of the sport that unfortunately just hit Japan. And we say exclusive, because of this limited edition only will produce 13 units, all with the steering wheel to the left.
Under the hood of this special BMW M6 is the engine V8 biturbo 4.4-liter. Serial delivering 560 HP, but this special edition also includes the Competition Package, which is an increase of power up to 600 HP and 700 Nm. With the change of double clutch and seven speeds it is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds and reach a maximum speed of 305 km/h, thanks to the ‘M Driver’s Package’.
But in addition to having outstanding performance, the M6 Celebration Edition also benefits from some unique items. Your body will be painted in yellow Austin and aesthetically highlighted by the 20-inch wheels lightweight alloy. Add some elements carbon fiber as is the case with the rear spoiler, the housings of the rearview mirrors or the rear diffuser.
In the interior we also find details in this precious material, which appears on the central console. Add a few sport seats with upholstery of leather Merino black with the stitching in yellow by contrast. As an extra it includes a sound system Bang & Olufsen of 16 speakers and 1,200 W. The price of each of the 13 units will be the height of a few pockets. In Japan it will cost 23.210.000 yen, which represents a few 187.000 € to change.
