BMW sells i8 through the phone
BMW Spain has sold an i8 through the phone. In the digital age in which we live, the format of the dealers is changing little by little. In this stage, BMW has joined the initiative to offer a personalized attention and direct through the phone, without the need to move up to a dealer. The Virtual Tour of BMW i is an innovative sales channel that has initiated the manufacturer for the sale of the BMW i3 and BMW i8.
From a PC, smartphone or tablet, BMW active on the website from 15 to 22 hours a button that puts you in contact with a Product Genius BMW i that shows in a direct the model selected as well as all its features. Client and expert will speak to each other. Using the camera the customer can see the expert and to the vehicle, but not the other way around.
The BMW i8 is a luxury sports plug-in hybrid, the price of which starts from the 139.200 €
Is the first BMW i8 to be sold in Spain through this channel without the physical presence of the person concerned. For the moment, this button is available exclusively for the sale of the BMW i3 and BMW i8 as vehicles of special dedication. We do not rule out the possibility that BMW decides to expand this sales channel towards other models of halo that require attention so unique.
