An important detail in the upcoming BMW Z5 is that it does not draw on the metal roof retractable Z4, but that you will be betting for the classic by recovering the roof canvas. This will bring benefits not only aesthetic, but also a lower total weight and a lower center of gravity that will improve its dynamic behavior, but also some inconvenience in the form of a lower insulation and soundproofing.

The BMW Z5 Roadster will be the first to arrive, but among the plans of the bavarian manufacturer also figure a BMW Z5 Coupe, which will be presented later. The family Z5 will be the fruit of the cooperation between BMW and Toyota for its development: the German will have its counterpart japanese with a coupe by Toyota -there will be no roadster-which could revive the name of Toyota Supra.

BMW Z5 Roadster 2018 keep the classic proportions of everything good in sport, with a long nose and sharp along with short overhangs. Will be based on the modular platform CLAR propulsion rear, especially tuned to convey a sporty character, and will be available with turbocharged engines of four and six-cylinder.
