With 144 laps and an extensive testing programme with the Pirelli tyres present in the GP of Brazil, we may say that Force India has had a positive Friday in Interlagos. So they have recognized the team riders the end of the second session of free, despite didn’t find any of them a clean lap in FP2. The result of this fact, Sergio Perez and Nico Hülkenberg have finished far from the proper positions they usually occupy, but that does not preclude that both have this reading positive for your pace in long runs.

Sergio Perez has finished fourteenth in FP2, with a time of 1.13.918 that has not even improved the time of the initial session of the day. A clear sign of the potential which still keeps the mexican pilot, in spite of the high temperatures present in Interlagos: “it Has been a warm day, but things went as planned and I feel positive. This afternoon I got a lap clear with soft tyres, so I feel that there is a great potential to come. We have tested some adjustments on the car that didn’t work out very well, but we’ve learned things tomorrow”.

In this regard, Doe expects that the climate is a little softer in the two-day Grand Prix remaining: Hopefully the weather is a little cooler during the weekend, but I still think that the work we have done today is representative, and we only have to tune the car if the track temperature is low. In general I am happy with what we have done today and I think we have a good base and idea of where we need to improve during the night to be faster”.

similar Arguments has been put forward Nico Hülkenberg before the press at the end of the second free practice session: “it Was a good Friday, just what any pilot wants on a day like this. We had two sessions with dry and hot weather and collect very useful information on the tires, especially in the two long runs that we did. The car feels good, but there is still much that can be done to improve the balance of the car to face the day tomorrow”.

all in all, Hülkenberg concluded: Is a good starting point which we have obtained today. I think that it is still too early to know how competitive we are compared to our rivals, but it seems that we have the potential to have a strong week“.
