This weekend, coinciding with the celebration of the Grand Prix of Abu Dhabi Formula 1 has had the grand final of the F1 Esports Series 2017. Taking as a basis F1 2017, the video game developed by Codemasters, there has been a relevant international competition that has allowed players from all over the world to show their skills behind the wheel of a car virtual.
After various previous rounds, finally were 20 players who earned the step up to the big final. Players of nationalities, very diverse flocked to the Yas Marina circuit to compete in the final of the championship. The last test of the tournament was made up of three races. Depending on the position obtained in each one of them added a certain amount of points. As with the races of Formula 1.
The young Brendon “BAM Leigh” Leigh has been declared the winner of the first edition of the F1 Esports Series. With only 18 years and manager of the kitchen in the small town of Reading (Uk), Leigh demonstrated her great superiority and quality of the steering wheel. He was one of four pilots that started the third and last race they knew that a victory guaranteed to become a champion.

Starting from P2 in the third race, Leigh was the fastest since the output line going to the poleman Fabrizio “Fc FabRacer” Donoso to be done in the first place. During the rest of the race was a flawless performance until you cross the checkered flag and become the first champion of this new competition that has entered with force in the professional circuit of eSports (Electronic Sports).
second place went to the aforementioned Fabrizio “Fc FabRacer” Donoso (Chile), while the the third step of the podium was for Sven “SvenZSven” Zurner (Germany).
