we Already have the list of candidates for the prize Car of the Year 2017.

Although we will still have to wait a few months to get the choice of a jury made up of almost 60 journalists around the world are the engine of Europe, we already know the chosen candidates to take the award Car of the Year 2017. Proposals for segments and niches of market very different that they have earned to be in this list of final candidates. They have all been a cut of pre-selection.

Each of the 58 journalists (six of them Spanish) of 22 national that make up the jury must distribute 25 points among at least five of the candidates. The complete list of candidates is the following:

The winner will be announced at the Geneva motor show 2017, in march.

Many of them have been great news for their brands as they have broken with the established patterns to date. A clear example is the new Citroën C3. The winner of the previous edition was the Opel Astra. The compact German is imposed to models from the likes of the Jaguar XE, Volvo XC90 or the Skoda Superb. What model will raise the award of Car of the Year 2017? We will have to wait for the Geneva motor show next year to find out. More specifically, the 6th day of March 2017.
