Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 Convertible 2017, first images spy

For the first time we see the Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 Convertible 2017. This has been allowed to see during a test session in winter. The truth is that we could be perfectly to any other Camaro camouflaged, but there are several elements that allow to see clearly that we are in the variant convertible craziest of all.

The first tests of winter are already in place

If you remember, in the middle of last year, we present to you other spy photos of the Chevrolet Camaro ZL1. On that occasion, we saw some tarps camouflage very similar to now. Could in fact be the same perfectly. This is the first detail that tells us that we are not before a Chevrolet Camaro normal.

The second, and more obvious, is the way of the mule. Note that is oversized in several sections. Wider, more forceful, with a small spoiler on the rear, but about everything that betrays are the four exhaust outlets. The same that we saw the ZL1 hard top and that no other member of the family Camaro has.

Seeing the images much more revealing of the Camaro ZL1 hard top, we can imagine the brutality and forcefulness of the american design. This image presagiar√° a dynamic level of height, and Chevrolet wants to correspond with one of the larger engines on the market. The same that mounts the Cadillac CTS-V.

Taking into account the range motor in the new Camaro, the ZL1 thinks them all to the height of the bitumen. Your block V8 LT4 supercharged will be able to generate a power close to 650 HP, still 200 HP more powerful than the Camaro next. Some figures that will allow you to go from 0 to 100 Km/h in just over 3 seconds.

The four tails escape betray you. There we have the Camaro ZL1 Convertible

Chevrolet has not yet announced the release dates of the units ZL1. Taking into account that this is the first time that we see the Convertible, it is logical to think that this will take longer to reach, however the Camaro ZL1 coupe could well be filed within a few days at the Detroit motor show. Let’s hope so.
