Citroën has joined the French group “Hyphen Hyphen” to create a prototype single that will see the light next Geneva. We talked about the Citroën Spacetourer Hyphen Concept, a vehicle where size matters. Taking as a basis the new van of the brand, the SpaceTourer, but endowing it with an aesthetic, robust which is intended to to emulate the popular SUV.
Part of this daring design is inherited directly from Citroën Aircross Concept. It has taken bumper and wheel arches widened, and the protections in the lower part of the body. These pieces are in color Dark Moondust (lunar dust), with details in orange that contrast beautifully with the bodywork in two colors. Highlights include alloy wheels 19 inch in matte black and has a high suspension.
interior is just as eye-catching that the exterior and is focused on the passenger. Stands out for its style, asymmetrical, with gradients in 2D and 3D, and by using a tissue-specific manner. Each seat is different so that each passenger can choose the one you like most. The combination of colors and the great solar roof that lets in the light, it is clear that the SpaceTourer Hyphen Concept is aimed at a younger audience.
Under the hood lies the engine BlueHDi 150 S&S. Is linked to a six-speed manual transmission and, as a novelty, it incorporates a transmission integral pluggable developed by Automobiles Dangel. This system considerably increases their abilities off-road, ensuring a good behavior in low-grip situations. To see the Citroën SpaceTourer Hyphen Concept in person will have to wait until 1 march, at the Geneva motor show.
