New Citroën Spacetourer, Peugeot Traveller and Toyota Proace
The agreement of collaboration between Peugeot, Citroen and Toyota continues on. Today reveal to the world the new models Citroën Spacetourer, Peugeot Traveller and Toyota Proace, a new trio of vans of the same features developed between the three brands.
Identical except for the front and the dealer
Represents an expansion of the collaboration agreement signed in 2012 that will extend beyond 2020. Models will be marketed simultaneously throughout the 2016, but before we will get to know all the technical details in the upcoming Geneva motor show that will start in march.
Will be available in three versions: mpvs to use particular and version Combi and Shuttle to professional. Are built on a new platform more compact and lightweight. Their manufacture is carried out in the factory of Sevelnord in the PSA Group (Valenciennes, France). For its part, Toyota has participated in the development costs and in industrial investments necessary for the new models.
The three vans will share the range of engines still to be revealed
As we discussed above, your specifications will be drawn. Share the same range of engines and transmissions, and even most of the equipment, however every one of them will impregnate her own design language in your product.
The front will be different in all of them while still having common features, the side profile and the lag is exactly the same in the three. In the case of the Citroen Jumpy, Peugeot Expert and Toyota ProAce, this last added in 2013, just changed the bumper and the grill.
The collaboration between the three brands also expands to other part of the range where today we find the brothers Citroën C1, Peugeot 108 and Toyota Aygo.
