Dacia approaches the Geneva Motor Show to expand the range of its successful crossover, the Dacia Duster , besides presenting the special edition 10th Anniversary of its range. The SUV brand will be offered from now with petrol motor 1.2 TCe 125 hp and AWD 4 × 4 . So far this engine was only front wheel drive and could only choose to drive 4 × 4 1.6 petrol with 105 horses and 110 hp dCi diesel.
With this new engine range 4 × 4 of the Dacia Duster gets a very interesting option. Delivers 125 hp and 205 Nm of torque, while more than 90% available from 1,500 laps, something that will help in driving off-road. The gearbox is manual six relations with first shorter than normal that will serve reductive. The AWD is connectable automatically.
The Dacia Duster 1.2 TCe 125 hp traction 4 × 4 consumes on average 6.4 liters per 100 , with CO2 emissions of 145 grams per kilometer. It has an Eco mode that gives a poorer motor response but which optimizes consumption. It also has Stop & Start and regenerative braking.
As in all Duster 4 × 4 system associated with this engine has three positions . In mode 4 × 2 always work the front and serves to save fuel. Mode 4 × 4 to 50% of torque can be sent to the rear wheels depending on the available grip on the front axle. The Lock mode is a low-speed block with a cast 50:50, the most recommended for the most complex and only available at low speed situations.
