All trademarks have been introduced into the Spanish market as low-cost, have been gradually improving its range of products, making it more visually appealing vehicles and more equipped. Dacia is the most successful example in terms of low-cost brands in Spain, and have seen how their cars have gone from offering essential to give the customer the option to equip more sophisticated elements as navigation systems and parking sensors.
In this effort to improve the product and provide more options to customers, Dacia will present an important innovation in Frankfurt. For the first time, Europe will be offered in versions with piloted manual gearbox Easy-R . So far all Dacia sold in our market were associated with manual gearbox. The change Easy-R bases its operation on a box of conventional manual transmission in which both the clutch and the gear selector is automated.
The gearbox piloted Easy-R is not new. The Renault Group and has been used in other markets as the South American or Russian. The gearbox offers the positions R (Reverse), N (neutral) and D (forward gear), plus the option of manual transmission (M) allows raising and lowering gear from the gear selector . Naturally in any automated change is dispensed clutch pedal.
Adopt a piloted manual gearbox as the Easy-R is cheaper than opting for more sophisticated available to Renault as double clutch EDC boxes options.
