on The 14th of may, always and when the McLaren MCL32 get put in place, Fernando Alonso will take part in which will be his sixteenth Grand Prix of Spain at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. Little more than 24 hours after the conclusion of the race, the rider from asturias will be 7,000 kilometers away, on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean, and at the wheel of a Dallara DW12, starting your two week adventure to take part in the 500 miles of Indianapolis.

In the best case, Alonso will arrive at the famous oval having performed a pre-test to be done with the basic concepts of your new ‘office’. It will be their only experience in an IndyCar before jumping down to the asphalt for the official sessions. Luckily for him, Indianapolis offers its riders nearly 40 hours of free practice over seven days, not counting the 10 hours for the qualifying sessions, in which Alonso must make the most of the time and the equipment available to get as prepared as possible.
