Audi Sport has chosen to Nyck de Vries and Nico Müller as their drivers for the ‘rookie test’ of the Formula E. The first edition of this test session aimed at young riders who climb for the first time a single-seater electric category will take place on January 14, 2018 in Marrakech, just one day after the conclusion of the second appointment from the calendar in the moroccan city. With this test, for newbies, the FIA and the Formula is giving the teams an opportunity to build quarry and to familiarize the young riders with the show electric.

In this way, Nyck de Vries and Nico Muller will be at the controls of the Audi e-tron FE04 for the first time in a test that has very strict standards, since only is reserved for those pilots who do not have a license electrical, or what is the same, to the drivers who have not played never a race of Formula E. however, the two pilots selected by Audi come in very different conditions to this test as Nyck de Vries is a young talent that is being looked at by Audi and Nico Müller is already an official driver of the brand in the DTM.

In this aspect, and despite competing with the team Audi Sport Team Abt Sportsline in the DTM in recent years, Nico Müller has a remarkable experience in single-seaters. The last time he competed in a vehicle of this nature was in the 2013 season of the Formula Renault 3.5. More recent has Nyck de Vries his background in single-seaters after competing in the Formula 2. It seems that both will share the track with Pietro Fittipaldi, every time that the brazilian seems to have everything closed to be one of the drivers of Panasonic Jaguar in this test.
