Dossier the 70 cars sold in Mexico during January

After several months, achieving continued increases in the mexican market finally seems to have reached its maximum temporal and the registrations of new cars are closing in negative. The past month of January was not an exception.

Sccording to the official data during the last month of January registrations of new vehicles in Mexico fell by 11.5% in comparison with the same month of the previous year, reaching a total volume of 109.145 units delivered to customers.

Of that total, today we focus on the 67.192 units that correspond to the conventional vehicles and, in addition, to the crossovers/SUVS that tend to counted as part of the so-called “Light Truck/Commercial”. Among the most outstanding models of the month there are that point to the Kia Rio, a product produced locally that has been able to win public support and already has a place among the 10 best vehicles sold in the country. The Chevrolet Beat, launched last year, is another of the stars of the month.

The Volkswagen Tiguan, Mazda CX-5, Toyota Yaris, Nissan Kicks or Suzuki Ignis were the other models who shone with own light in the first month of the year while on the opposite side would have to cite to the SEAT Ibiza (the new generation is not selling as much as the previous), Chevrolet Aveo, Dodge Attitude, VW Gol and Jetta, Honda Civic and Renault Duster.
