Elfyn Evans has had a start of season complicated. In
his return to the premier class in the WRC, the pilot welsh has lived different
problems that you have been away from the posts of head. All in all, the pilot of
DMACK has faded somewhat to finish sixth in Monte carlo and Sweden, as well as
to be ninth in the Rally of Mexico despite suffering a penalty of
five minutes by the replacement of the engine of his Ford Fiesta RS WRC ’17. With
all, Evans has shown positive on the performance achieved
this start of the season.
The Rally Mexico was especially complicated for Elfyn
Evans for the change of engine. All in all, the balance of the test was not at all
bad thanks to the ninth position harvested and three scratch added in
earth, surface on which you had not added victories stretch before:
“it Was hard to start with the penalty. Having a first day very
short, forced us to open track the rest of the weekend, which made the
things even more difficult. All in all, we demonstrate to have a good speed
throughout the special of the rally”.
despite the complications, Elfyn Evans takes a reading
positive of the Rally of Mexico, and in general the start of the championship:
“DMACK has made a lot of progress on the ground. If you look at where we were 12
months, everyone can be satisfied by the work we have done.
Until now there have been positive outcomes in all the rallies, but no luck
has not been on our side. We have been hampered in one way or another in
the three rallies. it Is difficult not to get results when you feel that you’ve done
a good job behind the wheel, but I’m sure we’re going to change that
