The Ford Fiesta was the best selling vehicle in its segment so far in 2015. It is also the second best-selling car of Europe, just behind the Volkswagen Golf .
F ord announced that the Fiesta was the best selling vehicle in Europe during the first half of 2015, in its segment. European customers purchased 173 999 Ford Fiesta in the period between January and June 2015 , which in turn meant an increase of 3.6% compared with the same period last year.
The Fiesta is a leader in its segment in Europe.
In addition, Fiesta was the second biggest selling car in Europe any segment during the same period last year, besides being the most sold in its segment and for the third consecutive year.
The most traded within the range are the TDVi Fiesta 1.5-liter and 1.0-liter EcoBoost. Roelant de Waard , vice president of Marketing, Sales and Service, Ford of Europe said the brand is proud to have succeeded in placing the Party there. It stressed that European Waard love small cars and have very high standards , so the satisfaction is double. On the other hand he said that customers now have the widest range in history to select a version of the Fiesta, which include from the Fiesta ECOnetic to the Fiesta ST .
recently updated Ford Fiesta range by adding more colors, trim levels and powertrains. Fiesta ranks second among the top selling cars in Europe, just behind the Volkswagen Golf, who heads the charts.
