Ferrari North America is recalling some Ferrari California T due to a risk of fuel leak in the engine compartment. This problem could affect specifically to 185 units, which were manufactured between the 8 September and 11 November of 2015.
According to the press release of the Italian brand, this is due to a manufacturing defect in a piece made by a provider. This increased risk of fuel leakage also increases chances of the vehicle catching fire. It is clear that Ferrari has learned from the mistakes of the past and has wanted to solve the problem quickly to avoid images of some of their cars in flames, as happened with the Ferrari 458 Italia.
