Paris Salon 2016 is serving to introduce many innovations, but also for any other celebration. It is the case of Ferrari, because in 2017 it will meet its 70th anniversary and do not want this event to pass without penalty or glory. It was therefore decided to make five special editions with some of their current models. They will receive a unique decor and that recalls some milestones in the Italian brand.
Find the Ferrari 488 GTB “The Schumacher”, two Ferrari 488 Spider “The Green Jewel” and “Taylor Made”, the Ferrari California T “The Steve McQueen” and the Ferrari F12berlinetta “The Stirling”. Each copy will be produced 70 units, in total, will arrive in the 350 units if we add all the editions. In 2017 will be doing a tour in more than 60 countries on the occasion of the celebration of the anniversary.
Ferrari 488 GTB “The Schumacher”
Ferrari 488 GTB “The Schumacher” makes a tribute to the career of the legendary German pilot Michael Schumacher. Taken as referring to the race car F2003-GA, with which he won the Formula 1 World championship and the constructors ‘ for Ferrari in the year 2003. Stands out for its red color with white details in the bass, in addition to a few stripes on the roof.
Ferrari 488 Spider “Taylor Made”
Ferrari 488 Spider “Tailor Made” for by the department of personalization of Ferrari dress-up gala. Its decoration is based on the Ferrari 375 MM, 1953, with body signed by Pininfarina. It has been painted with three layers of a color and Bianco Italia and has two longitudinal stripes along the vehicle.
Ferrari 488 Spider “The Green Jewel”
The second unit of the convertible is the Ferrari 488 Spider “The Green Jewel”. Its name means ‘green gem’ and is due to the green color of its body. It is the same that carried the Ferrari 365 P2 of the team David Piper Racing, who competed in the decade of the 60’s. Won in the 9 hours of Kyalami two consecutive times in the years 1965 and 1966.
Ferrari California T “The Steve McQueen”
Ferrari California T “The Steve McQueen” taken as a reference to the Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta Lusso , 1963, which was gifted to the legendary Steve McQueen by his wife. His body is painted in brown and as a curiosity, its interior is covered with camel skin.
Ferrari F12berlinetta “The Stirling”
The last issue is this Ferrari F12berlinetta “The Stirling”. Pays homage to the legendary Stirling Moss, and more specifically to the Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta SWB with which he won the Tourist Trophy in 1961. The body is painted in the color Blu Scuro and receives decorations of careers in white.
