The Ferrari GTC4Lusso was presented last Geneva motor show and came with a V12 engine and all-wheel drive to replace the Ferrari FF. Now comes the Ferrari GTC4Lusso T, a version of this model which leaves aside the twelve-cylinder to use a mechanical V8 turboalimentada. This issue will have traction only at the rear axle and will debut at the end of the month, when you open the doors of the Paris.
The eight-cylinder chosen is no other than the one used by the Ferrari 488 GTB, won the award for best engine of the year. The V8 biturbo engine of 3.9 liters fits perfectly in this model and will have a capacity of 610 HP and 760 Nm of torque. Even though they are 50 HP less than the V12, you get a greater torque delivery. In addition you will have the weight advantage. The Ferrari GTC4Lusso T is in 1.740 kg, which means that it is 50 kg lighter than the V12.
therefore their performance will also remain height. Accelerates 0 to 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds (only a tenth slower than the V12) and has a maximum speed of 320 km/h (15 km/h less than the V12). When you have changed its configuration, having a smallest motor and rear-wheel drive, the weight distribution changes slightly. The Ferrari GTC4Lusso will have a 46% front and 54% rear.
Some of the advantages will come in their dynamic behaviour and their consumption. The Italian brand has updated the electronic systems to improve your driving, in addition to recalibrating the rear axle directional. Promises an immediate response and that there will be virtually lag in the turbo. To finish, it has a consumption of to 11.6 l/100km, far below the 15,3 litres V12 engine. CO2 emissions are also down to 265 g/km
