Ferrari shakes the world with his latest creation: this is the LaFerrari Aperta, which has just been released its first images through the social networks. Its official presentation will take place at the Paris Salon 2016, in the first days of October, but in Maranello have not wanted to wait any longer to show us the design of the expected LaFerrari convertible.
Still without official name, it shuffled two denominations: LaFerrari Spider or LaFerrari Aperta, although this last is the most likely. For the moment, have hardly transcended details nor their features, although its main novelty will be your roof: we are not facing a true convertible, but rather to a ‘targa’, with a roof shaped removable manual, exposing the heads of the driver and passenger.
The LaFerrari Aperta will be available with hard top in carbon fibre and also with a soft top canvas. Unlike the Ferrari 488 Spider or the Ferrari California T, for example, here there will be no automatic mechanism retractable for opening and closing the own ceiling.
Your engine is showing through the back cover of glass and carbon fiber: we are faced with the same V12 naturally aspirated 6.3-liter, yielding 800 HP, supplemented by a KERS system with an electric motor and batteries, which adds another 163 HP. The result are 963 HP hybrid who made this LaFerrari Spider on the cusp of the supersports convertible.
Ferrari has had to reinforce the carbon chassis of the LaFerrari in this convertible version: in this way, the LaFerrari Spider will be presumed identical structural rigidity that the closed model. The aerodynamics has also been modified, making that not be a hindrance to extract the maximum performance even without the roof in place.
The benefits will not just changes compared to the coupe, which can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 2,9 seconds and achieve the 350 km/h. It will be in the Paris Salon 2016 when you know all the details of this LaFerrari Aperta: it will be made in a limited edition -very probably 150 units – and its price will reach two or three million euros. Its production has already been awarded to the full-advance to the most important customers of the brand.
