Fiat changes name to its industrial in Latin America

Having a trademark very powerful is something that is necessary for the products we represent are sold in sufficient quantity and thus justify the development and production of these. Fiat has always been a signature well-regarded for the customers in the main countries of Latin America, however, from which was formed the new Group Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) now has a designation that is still more powerful.

RAM is the signature of the now defunct Chrysler Group LLC allocated, preferentially, to the manufacture of industrial vehicles, pick-up truck and all terrain. Throughout its history it has earned him a reputation as a firm that sells products solid and reliable in the region. For this reason, and in view of the need for the consortium italo americano to boost their sales, has produced this re-structuring business.

Until now, Fiat marketed its industrial vehicles and pick-up under the seal of the Professional and RAM did the same with his own. In this way, the priority shopping passes of the Italian brand to the american, closer to the customers in the region and with the better esteem. The changes affect all the models that are encompassed under this label with the exception of the Bull (known in Europe as a Fullback) as the brand sees it as a vehicle of leisure instead of for the work.

In this way, the range left open by the new RAM 700 Rapid (the Fiat Fiorino, manufactured in Brazil), RAM Van (Fiat Fiorino european) and the RAM 1000 (our Fiat Doubled). These models will be added to the already marketed by RAM in the region as the pick of small size Strada. In all of them, the changes are minimal, as in some models only have altered the insignia and in others it has modified the range mechanical, although of a mild form.

With this strategy, the Italian firm seeks to to increase its sales in the region, since both General Motors as Ford have a greater presence. The countries to which they will arrive are Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama and Peru, although all will not be at the same time.
