FIA and ACO have published the list of registered official of the
season 2017 WEC. A total of fifteen prototypes and thirteen GT will meet
in a championship that has notable developments in its four sides. In this
aspect, it should be noted that will be five LMP1 racing form
permanent in the contest, while ten LMP2 of new generation have it
in the second class. With the return of Porsche, eight are the GT
registered in the category GTE-Pro, while five GT are given appointment in the
category GTE-Am during the nine appointments on the calendar of the WEC.
LMP1 / LMP2
Porsche and Toyota are the only manufacturers with
representation in LMP1. Each of the two brands will compete with two LMP1-H,
although Toyota will use a third TS050 Hybrid at Spa-Francorchamps and in
the 24 Hours of Le Mans as a result of their more aggressive strategy to try to
win the mythical appointment in The Sarthe. The fifth prototype will be the LMP1-L
ByKolles, training has become one of the protagonists of the day,
all time the training has confirmed Robert Kubica as the first of its
pilots. It will compete under Polish flag with the renombado ENSO CLM P1/01.

GTE-Pro / GTE-Am
The category GTE-Pro also has a balance very
interesting. The return of Porsche as a official team with the new 911 RSR with
central motor draws an interesting duel with four brands involved, and two
cars by brand. Two will be the Ferrari 488 GTE that will align permanently
AF Corse, while Ford Chip Ganassi gets to be the structure in charge
