a couple of weeks Ago I had that during an interview conducted by Autocar with the boss of Bugatti, Wolfgang Dürheimer, the head of the mythical French brand he did not rule out the possibility of the launch of any edition more exclusive and prestacional Bugatti Chiron, which could be introduced by some system of electric propulsion to gain power.
however, it seems that it was a small bluff, or who simply wanted to make illusions to the public, because now sources close to Bugatti have ruled out that possibility. The Bugatti Chiron is selling at a spectacular rate, in fact, of the 500 units planned for production have already been sold almost half; and it is not precisely an economic vehicle or for its acquisition or for its maintenance.
Bugatti Veyron La Finale
The case of the Bugatti Veyron was very different. In that model, the predecessor of Chiron, the production was limited to 450 units, but it took nothing more and nothing less than ten years to accomplish, seller all. The French firm developed and marketed numerous editions special more exclusive, and in some cases greater potency, to facilitate the sale of all the scheduled production. It was (and is) a hiperdeportivo spectacular, with all luxury of details and a propellant 16 cylinders arranged in a W shape, and four turbos, whose power of 1,001 horses are distributed between the four wheels.
The indexes of sales of the Bugatti Chiron have little to do with the Veyron. In a few months has already accumulated 200 sales of the 500 planned units, so that the operators that handle the assembly of the various units have accumulated work. It is for this reason that Bugatti doesn’t need to resort to special editions to sell in a short time all the Chiron provided.
Chiron also has a motor W16 8 liters and four turbos, though in this case develops a 1,500 horses full performance that enable you to go from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.5 seconds and run at a tip speed that exceeds without problems the 420 km/h.
