Force India: the perfectly made team Formula 1

Force India is touching perfection in this start of the season, improving still further the excellent performance that has been offering for years. On this occasion its two pilots arrived at the doors of the podium taking advantage of the abandonment of Kimi Räikkönen, Max Verstappen and Valtteri Bottas.

In any case, both Sergio Perez and Esteban Ocon beat firmly to their direct rivals in the battle for the fourth position in the constructors ‘ championship and Nico Hülkenberg got concerned shyly.

Sergio Pérez returned to lead a team that executes the strategy to perfection, and is more and more fast despite of the calibration problems aerodynamics of this start of the season. “it Has been an incredible day for us and I’m very proud of the team and the work we have done throughout the weekend. Everything worked for us and we have achieved a good amount of points. We take advantage of the most of the opportunities that appeared and were there to get the points”, said the mexican.

Sergio was kept safe in the chaos of the first lap which led to the incident between Räikkönen and Verstappen, in addition to between Massa and Alonso. This allowed him to print a consistent pace and not even a pit stop slow complicated things. “I didn’t do the best output, but I stayed out of trouble and safe on the first lap. Then crouched down the head, I managed my speed and I was controlled the race to bring the car home. The only small problem we had was a pit stop, slow, but had enough of a margin to the car behind”.

Sergio Perez congratulates the team for a race after the other because the errors do not come, and the results are increasingly encouraging. “Congratulations to the whole team because it was not a weekend easy in terms of finding the settings of the car”.

Leaving Barcelona with a fourth place is incredible and gives us the confidence for the rest of the season.

Esteban Ocon is not to be less in the beginning of this year, especially considering his inexperience. The French rider now has 19 points in five races, which allow it to be eighth in the general classification. “I Am very happy today. The fifth place is a great result for me and, along with the fourth place in Czech, has been a fantastic day for the team. It is a great end to a weekend in which we work incredibly hard and is a good reward for everyone in the team”.

Ocon highlights the consistency of the car, which already provides a performance rating equivalent to that of the race, which allows pilots to maximize the opportunities that present themselves. “The car was quick in qualifying and we’ve been in the rhythm of yesterday. We kept pressing and we showed good speed in the race. There were some circumstances this afternoon that helped us, but you need to be ready to take advantage of the opportunities when they arrive”, commented by Stephen in relation to the abandonment of the three drivers of the teams pointers.

Be regular and consistent to get points: as well considered Ocon that achieves the objectives set for this year. And, for the moment, that is what is happening. “there are Still many things to accomplish this year: we are always there when it is important and the car is fast on a constant basis. Scoring every time that we run is what really matters for the championship, so we need to keep this consistency”.

Robert Fernley is the proud Deputy Director of Force India, and the advantage that it holds in the general classification will be full of happiness, in addition to being the only team that has finished with its two pilots the five races. “A fantastic result for everyone at Sahara Force India. The 22 points scored strengthen our position in fourth place in the championship and continue our record of scoring in 100% of the races this season. We are now the only team that has achieved and that is a great reward for the hard work of the team and in the factory”.
