The new Renault Capture achieves its best performance of 2017

A month more the car registrations in France remain positive. In June traded 230.940 units, which represents an improvement of 1.6% compared to the same period of 2016. The accumulated data for the first half of the year totalled 1.135.281 units sold which imply an improvement of 3.0%.

there are No new developments in the high part of the table of models, where the Renault Clio maintains a comfortable advantage over the Peugeot 208. The novelty lies in the third square, where you have placed the Renault Capture already starting to show in the dealers the effects of its recent renovation. Not reached the podium since December of 2016 and has gone up no less than six positions compared to its performance in may.

Behind things are also interesting. The Peugeot 3008 remains very strong thanks to their conversion into SUV in this second generation and you get to sign a brilliant fourth place, equalling their position record that also achieved in January. The fifth step is for the Renault Scénic, which turns to surprise to enter in the Top 5 for the second consecutive month.

Position record for the Peugeot 5008

Another highlight is the new Peugeot 5008 that achieves its best historical position to be 19th. Will closely follow this model because it promises to keep improving. With regard to the data of June of 2016 highlight the bad results of the Renault Megane (-25%), Renault Kadjar (-30%) and the Renault Twingo (-36%): it seems that the mark of the diamond need an update of these models.

Between the manufacturers, the ranking of the French market leaves us that only three of the ten most sold brands have lost ground, but interestingly the three are in the first four positions. It is the case of Renault (-7%), Citroën (-2%) and Volkswagen (-6%). On the contrary, Mercedes impresses by increasing their demand a formidable 32%.
