Trident stole much of the limelight thanks to Antonio
Fuoco, which closed the first contact of the grill of GP3 with the
car of this year with the fastest time and by a wide
margin over Jake Dennis, the pilot of Arden. The Italian, a member of the
Ferrari Drivers Academy, stopped the clock in 1:27.293 in the session
morning to set a new track record in the
GP3 refers.
On the first day was the japanese ART, Nirei Fukuzumi,
who scored the best time, setting a time of 1:28.645,
while the own Fuoco improved on the second day to get
a best lap of 1:27.991.
Álex Palou, present in the test with the Spanish team Campos
Racing, improved four tenths on the second day with respect to the
first, but in the third failed to lower their time, focusing
by the afternoon on the race pace with the descent of the
temperatures.
The next test will be held on April 7 and 8 in the
circuit Ricardo Tormo, constituting the final decision of
contact before the start of the championship in the Grand Prix of Spain
of Formula 1, a category with which the GP3 share poster.
