More leaks of news in these days before the Geneva motor show 2016. Now has been this Honda Civic Concept the who has not wanted to wait more, and here are their first pictures by courtesy of colleagues from Carscoops. It seems very close to production, but it is not really: we are faced with a prototype that served to show a preview of the next Civic five-door.

The new generation of Honda Civic will be on sale in Europe in 2017. This design assumes a turn significant with respect to the current model, and is very similar to the Honda Civic Coupe is already on sale in the united States. In fact, this Honda Civic Concept could almost be confused with a production model, if we forget about details “decorative” as your alloy wheels, or that imposing rear diffuser.

This prototype also incorporates a double exhaust exit central, as well as a double rear spoiler on roof and tailgate, as the rear headlights are joined horizontally. Its front is very similar to that of the Civic Coupe, although here we see a bumper with the air inlets of greater size, covered by a grid pattern.

In the next few days we will know all the details of a prototype that gives us an insight of the future of Honda in the compact segment. The Honda Civic 2017 five-door to debut engines VTEC Turbo 1.0 and 1.5 liters, as well as a hybrid: in our latest spy photos of the new Civic production, you can verify that your design will respect the lines marked by the prototype.
