In 2002 Ferrari wanted to give continuity to the saga that started in 84 with the 288 GTO. Thus arose a car that to this day remains one of the most desired of the Italian house, the Ferrari Enzo. So much so that stars from all over the world wanted to get one of the 400 units. Soon will go out to auction one of them, the fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger.
The Enzo in question is doubly interesting, first for the owner and second by the mileage
The american, as well as many other familiar faces, such as Michael Schumacher, Kimi Raikkonen, Rod Stewart and Eric Clapton, among many others, decided that it had to be done with one of the exclusive units, although the view of the figure from the odometer of the car, has not had much time to use it.
And is that what is striking about this unit is auctioned is not his owner, but your mileage. Only has a little over 5,800 miles. Taking into account that the car is 2003, that means that mr. Hilfiger has done little less than 450 miles a year with him. You look where you look at it a pity, although not so much for him.
What little that has enjoyed going to cause the auction price to grow as the foam. Is, possibly, one of the units best preserved, and that will attract the large fortunes that world in his day could not get hold of a Ferrari Enzo. The sale price is estimated to be between three and four million dollars.
The rare unit will be put to sale in the auction of RM Sotheby’s in Phoenix, Arizona, the next few days on 19 and 20 January. If you want to, and you can afford it, do not hesitate, it is a great opportunity. Such is the craze for the Enzo, that makes a little unit began to smoke in full auction and still sold for 2,15 million dollars.
