In the end, it simply was not possible. We have to learn from the problems that we’ve had this weekend, but there is also to look for the positives. The car was competitive in the conditions of variable yesterday and today Button has scored some very good points for the team”.

For his part, Jenson Button was one of the protagonists of the race. The british driver managed to reach the second position in the output, and although this post does not lasted in excess, managed to faster cars to after the sixth thanks to the positive strategy of the team: “I Knew the race was going to be difficult starting in the front, although that always helps because you with clean air, and we were able to do something more. Even so, with two DRS zones we could not stop the cars coming from behind“.

After you get this sixth position, the Button highlighted some points of his career: we beat the cars of Williams in rhythm and I think we have done a great job today with our strategy in the race. We took the maximum in the race, through every session and that has been noticed because we’ve been improving. Each race we managed to improve in fact, the car is better each time. We did a great job this weekend, but we know that we head to Silverstone where we don’t expect to be in this position”.
